Panasonic officially announces Panasonic Eluga Android smartphone for Europe

Panasonic has prepped a 4.3-inch Android smartphone known as Panasonic Eluga for Europe and it is expected to land in Europe this Spring. The Eluga is great for those who’re rough with their phones as it’s a waterproof, dust-proof and generally resilient handset.

The Panasonic Eluga features a qHD 960 x 540 OLED display, a sizable camera and supports NFC. It weights a mere 103 grams and can be used as a remote control for your Panasonic HDTVs.
There is no information about what version of Android the Eluga will run. Other specs of the handset are still on the sparse side. But most likely the handset will be demoed at MWC 2012 next week.
