Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy Grand smartphone. It comes with 5-inch WVGA TFT display powered with mDNle technology. It supports dual- SIM
capability and Samsung calls it smart dual SIM. It runs on Android
4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core
processor it has 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded up
to 64 GB.The
device boasts an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel
front facing camera. The phone houses a powerful battery of 2,100 mAh.
The smartphone also comes with some pre-loaded apps like ChatOn, myMovies, myMusic, MyMobileTV, myStation, myReader amd myEducation.
As an introductory offer the company is providing a Flip cover in the box and users can download music and movies worth Rs. 8,000 for free. Additionally, the Vodafone customers can also get 2 GB data download free per month for 2 months.
Samsung has priced the device at Rs. 21,500. After the launch of this the company now has 6 offerings in the dual SIM category smartphone range.
