Huawei launches Ascend G300 and Y200 smartphones

Huawei, information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider has launched its first series of Ascend G300 and Y200. The newly launched Huawei smartphones are the first product of the Ascend G and Y series. Ascend G300 has been priced at Rs. 13,490, while Ascend Y200 comes at a price of Rs. 8,190.

Mr. Victor Shan, President Huawei Devices India said, “We are extremely delighted to launch Ascend smartphone series in the Indian market. The Ascend G300 and Y200 are easy-to-use Smart phones that provide exceptional power, performance and style for the discerning consumers.”
Ascend G300 offers 4.0-inch WVGA IPS hard screen technology with anti-fingerprint design. It features a 5.0 megapixel auto focus camera, which also has video recording capabilities and an LED flash. The device runs Android 2.3 operating system and has 1GHz CPU.

On the other hand Ascend Y200 comes with a 3.5 inch IPS touch screen and is powered by Qualcomm 800MHz CPU. It runs Android 2.3 operating system. Another feature in Ascend Y200 is its dual MIC which reduces the background noise, giving users exceptional calling experience.
