Korean-smartphone major Samsung is reportedly making the successor of its flagship device Galaxy S3. The upcoming Galaxy S4 smartphone is under development and is codenamed ‘Project J‘. It is expected that the company may introduce it in mid 2013. According to a well-known Samsung-related blog—SamMobile, Samsung is having plans to announce the next Galaxy S in April, 2013. Earlier, there were rumors that Samsung could launch its latest Galaxy S4 smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013, Spain.
The Korea Times reported that, the screen size of the Galaxy S4
is expected to reach 5-inch from the current 4.8 screen size of
the Galaxy S3. The upcoming device will be running on Google’s Android
software and feature an AMOLED display, a quad-core processor and a
13-megapixel camera.
The new flagship smartphone will be supporting LTE networks and will
be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos-branded application processors
and quad-core chips. The upcoming smartphone will take on Apple’s new iPhone 5 and is expected to bolster Samsung’s market presence.
